1880S S.S. STEWART FRETLESS BANJO, serial number 2510, five string, "silver"-wrapped rim with 20 brackets, cherry neck and ebony fretboard with abalone/mother-of-pearl fret markers, inlaid floret to headstock, mismatched replaced tuning keys, interior rim and neck fastener marked "S.S.STEWART", "PHIL'A U.S.A.", and "2510".
Condition:
Good as-is condition with expected wear and other imperfections, fitted with frets at one time which have been removed, lacking bridge and tailpiece, a few age cracks to neck.
Circa : 1885-1888.
