ANTIQUE GIBSON A-1 MANDOLIN, serial number 33296, eight string, arch spruce top, herringbone inlaid rosette, faux tortoise shell pickguard marked "PAT. MAR. 30. 09", original "The Gibson" tailpiece, birch sides and back with reddish finish, ivoroid bindings, mahogany neck and ebony fretboard with mother-of-pearl fret markers, original celluloid tuning keys, headstock featuring slanted mother-of-pearl inlaid "The Gibson" logo in script lettering, having original Gibson interior label. Together with probably original hard-shell case. Two pieces total.

Condition: Good to very good overall condition with expected usage wear and surface scratches, probably original bridge with repair, section of separation of back from sides at seam, possible other repairs and/or refinish, case with expected wear, surface scratches, and other imperfections.
