ENGLISH FREE-BLOWN OPAQUE TWIST WINES, LOT OF TWO, colorless lead glass, comprising one with an ogee bowl with a 4-ply swirl stem with interior spiral tapes, and an example having an ogee bowl with a slightly flaring rim and raised on a 4-ply swirl stem with an interior corkscrew, each having an applied circular foot with a rough pontil mark.
Condition : Undamaged.
Circa : Circa 1750.
Item Dimensions: 5 3/8" and 5 3/4" H, 2 5/8" and 2 3/4" D foot.
Provenance : Glass deaccessioned by Bennington Museum, Bennington, VT. All proceeds will go toward the museum's Collections Acquisition Fund.
