FREE-BLOWN MARBRIE LOOP OPEN COMPOTE, aquamarine with four groups of opal loopings, wide bell-form bowl, raised on a short baluster-form stem, applied circular foot, faint rough pontil mark.

Condition : Undamaged.

Circa : Circa 1870.

Item Dimensions: 5 1/4" H, 7" D rim, 3 1/2" D foot.

Provenance : Glass deaccessioned by Bennington Museum, Bennington, VT. All proceeds will go toward the museum's Collections Acquisition Fund.
Ex-collection of Channing Hare.
