STAFFORDSHIRE AMERICAN VIEW TRANSFER-PRINTED CERAMIC TEAPOT, featuring the Boston State House #1 pattern, depicting a central domed government building flanked by other structures, figures including one with wheelbarrow, sheep, and cattle in foreground, having floral and vine border decoration. Marks to underside include printed American eagle grasping arrows and olive branches with shield, "6", and impressed "O".

Condition: Having minor rim chip and some glaze wear to end of spout. Manufacturing flaws, including glazed over chip to spout, as made.

Circa : 1815-1842.
