STAFFORDSHIRE AMERICAN VIEW TRANSFER-PRINTED CERAMIC CUP AND SAUCER SET, featuring the Boston State House #1 pattern, depicting a domed government building flanked by other structures, having figures, sheep, and cattle in foreground, and a floral and vine border decoration. Unmarked.

Condition : Mostly undamaged, except saucer having extremely faint rim hairline, not visible to interior due to decoration, and cup with some scattered glaze wear including rim. Manufacturing flaws, including stilt marks to saucer interior, as made.

Circa : 1815-1842.
