STAFFORDSHIRE AMERICAN VIEW TRANSFER-PRINTED CERAMIC PLATTER, featuring "State House / Boston", as printed to underside, depicting a central domed government building flanked by other structures and cattle in foreground, having spread-wing eagle border decoration. Additional marks to underside include impressed "14".
Condition : Undamaged, having some minor light short scattered scratches, including three slightly deeper, from use. Manufacturing flaws, including flake to stilt mark on rim, as made.
Circa : 1822-1835.
