comprising a footed ovoid-form open-handled compote featuring polychrome hand-painted designs including butterflies, floral swags, and magenta fish scale border, two teapots including one example with stand having blue, white, and gilt floral and urn design and one earthenware example featuring polychrome hand-painted decorations depicting three birds to each side on black ground, two examples made for “TIFFANY & COMPANY / NEW YORK” having elaborate gilt decorations including a soup plate with cartouche depicting profile of a king/prince and a service plate with encrusted rim, and a 6 1/8″ D bowl having Gaudy-style foliate and acorns design with gilt accents. Marks to underside include printed “TRADE MARK / D.B. & Co. / ETRURIA”, lion and crown with “ROYAL DOULTON / ENGLAND”, hand-brushed numerals.
