depicting a brass spread-winged bird with feather detail and spring-construction to the tail and mouth for holding fabric, topped by a tall twisted post supporting a pincushion holder fitted with a plum velvet fabric covered cushion, cast-metal C-form table clamp with floral and foliage ornamentation, front post of clamp fitted with a needle case and an acorn-form threaded cap.
