egg-form case with turquoise green ground, overall hand-painted rose and floral enameled decoration, hinged cover with brass mounts and rims, interior fitted with a green velvet lined holder, fitted with matching decorated thimble with brass rim. Retains collection number sticker and detailed collection card.

Excellent condition, expected wear and very minute wear to enamel decoration, case cover interior with several light hairlines to the porcelain, case with a small spot of sealant, thimble in like-unused condition with some scattered sealant covering.
Case 1 3/4" HOA.
Provenance: The Mildred Jarvis Collection, Kennesaw, GA. Purchased from Baltimore TCI Convention, 8/4/1994. Purchased from Ann Blakeslee, retains dealer label to the interior cover of DM & Manheim Antique Corp., New York City, NY.
