oval-form burl wooden case with hinged cover, cream silk and velvet lining; interior fitted with six tools comprising five mother-of-pearl examples consisting of two stilettos, a pair of scissors with gold-wash blades impressed “7” and “MM / PARIS”, a needle case with slip-on cover, and a ribbon threader/bodkin, along with a gilt 0.800 silver thimble having scalloped wreath and floral band. Thimble impressed with French boar’s head hallmark for 0.800 silver fineness. Total weight of thimble: 0.230 ozt. Retains collection number sticker and detailed collection card.
