soft bronze tones with sprays of polychrome floral decoration, rectangular form with hinged cover and with a push-button knob, interior lined with a pink satin and velvet fabric covering; fitted with various needleworking and domestic articles, including a red leather three-fold kit with needle sleeve, a cut steel auger with bone handle and stiletto, a bone triple spool holder, and a mother-of-pearl handled stiletto, mirror and a colorless cut scent bottle with colorless stopper and threaded cap.
