Nathan joined the JSEA team in July of 2024 and works with inventory management and transportation. Nathan’s roles include packing and transporting consigned inventory along with inventory management. In addition, he assists the Ceramics Department with cataloging folk pottery and provides customer service on auction and preview days.
At a young age Nathan always had a knack for old things, and growing up around them only fueled this interest. The home he grew up in was filled with artwork and period furniture, along with Americana. This really allowed Nathan to gain an early knowledge of antiques at a young age. In 2017 Nathan along with his father Gregory started NGF Antiques, with a focus on early American decorative arts and antiques. Since then, Nathan has really taken an interest in American Stoneware, where he has become a very knowledgeable and trusted member of the field, with a specialization in Mid-Atlantic stoneware, specifically Virginia. Nathan has been a regular on auction day, you could often find him in the back of the room waiting for the next item to catch his eye. As a result it was only a matter of time before Nathan joined the JSEA team.
