Mid/third quarter 19th century.
Lock in working condition, expected pitting to lockplate and barrel around percussion nipple; several early repairs including forestock possibly shortened but perhaps as made, brass screw set to stock at fore-end of lockplate, brass pan/sheet fitted around percussion nipple and between hammer and barrel tang, and two very minor breaks to stock, with each original piece reattached with a brad. One barrel-pin plate replaced, probably not silver.
