Hannah grew up in Lexington, VA after her family moved from the Houston, TX area. She attended Washington and Lee University as a studio art major with a concentration in photography and a museum studies minor. Her interests in historical and cultural materials grew when she and her best friend frequently explored the two local antique malls during the summer months.
Upon graduating in 2015, Hannah and her babies, Cappie and Bean, relocated to Lexington, KY to work as an estate service specialist and cataloger for an online estate sale company. Here, she expanded her knowledge of antiques, collectibles, and everything else in between.
After two years, Hannah decided to return to the Shenandoah Valley and was promoted to a remote cataloger for the silver department. In addition, she worked part-time as a greeter and shop guide for the museums on W&L’s campus. She joined the JSE&A team in June 2018 and looks forward to learning even more.
